PRODUCTION

Proma has worked in multiple aspects of film production, whether it was on budgeted features or independent shorts and web projects. She produced and performed Broad City-esque videos along with Radhika Menon as PromRad and co-founded Lion Party Films, a production company run entirely by South Asian women and specializing in storytelling unique to this demographic. In 2023, LPF launched Drunk Bollywood Live, a series of stage parodies of Bollywood movies that have sold out shows across the New York City area, produced and directed by Proma and Raashi Desai.​
